Terms of service

Using the service

You must have authority to act for the Shopify store that installs the app. You are responsible for your store, products, menu content, tax settings, prices, fulfilment, customer service and compliance with laws applying to your business.

Subscriptions and plan capability

Paid app subscriptions are approved and billed through Shopify App Pricing. Current prices, billing frequency, trial terms and plan changes are shown in Shopify before approval. You may change or cancel a plan through Shopify. Shopify Plus-only presentation features require both an eligible Shopify Plus store and the corresponding Catering Planners plan; all stores retain the supported Standard checkout engine.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, bypass access controls, interfere with other merchants, submit unlawful or deceptive content, probe the service without permission, or use it to violate Shopify's terms or applicable law. Storefront testimonials and structured data must be genuine, visible, product-specific where marked as product reviews, and compliant with search-engine policies.

Merchant content and instructions

You retain ownership of content you enter. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display it for your store. You are responsible for confirming package rules, prices, taxes, delivery fees, availability, dietary information and customer communications before accepting orders.

Availability and support

We aim to provide a reliable service and support it through support@cateringplannerspro.com, but maintenance, Shopify changes, network failures and events beyond reasonable control may interrupt availability. We may suspend access when necessary to protect merchants, buyers or the service.

Intellectual property

The app, documentation, branding and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. No rights are granted except the limited, revocable right to use the service with an authorised Shopify store during an active entitlement.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for a merchant's food, allergens, event performance, fulfilment, tax treatment, customer commitments or content. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the app fees paid by the affected merchant during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

Ending use

You may uninstall the app and cancel its plan through Shopify. We may end access for material breach, unlawful use, non-payment or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, payment obligations and liability limits—continue to apply.
